The EEF High School Graduate Scholarships are made available by the Environmental Education Foundation, Inc. The EEF is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of environmental education and /or the creation of awareness to environmental problems in the Geneva Lakes area. This is done primarily through the awarding of scholarships to local students.
Each year the Environmental Education Foundation (EEF) awards up to three, one-time $3,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors from the Geneva Lake area who are planning to major in natural sciences. Candidates are chosen by the Foundation, and must be registered at an accredited college or university.
When selecting the top candidate, the EEF considers each candidate’s academic record, professional goals, extra-curricular activities, relevant work experiences and residency. Students are awarded their scholarships at their high school awards night.
To apply, students must complete the Thomas E. Reynolds Endowment Scholarship Application. Those who do are automatically applying for the EEF High School Graduate Scholarship. Applicants may be awarded one or the other, but not both. The application requires transcripts, letters of recommendation, and an essay, along with the high school's general scholarship application form. See the TER application for all requirements.
Applications must be postmarked or otherwise received by March 1. Should you have any questions, please contact the EEF at P.O. Box 244, Fontana, WI 53125, (262) 203-7108 or .
